Internet Explorer Window Resize
Sometimes Internet Explorer will create all new windows either in the wrong size or position.
This can be reset, in one of two ways.
- With no other Internet Explorer sessions open, start a new Internet Explorer session, resize and position as you wish. Then hold down CTRL and SHIFT and close Internet Explorer.
- In the registry (usual warnings apply about not doing anything in the registry unless you know what you are doing) delete the following key: HKEY_ CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft \Internet Explorer\Main and delete the key on the right that is called "Window_Placement".
Pressing CTRL+D will quickly book mark the page you are currently viewing. All you then need to do is organise it in to your favourites.
Quick Access to .com Domain Names
Did you know that if you type a name in IE., without the www or .com , then press ctrl and enter Internet Explorer will complete the address for you. For example, if you type microsoft, it will take you to www.microsoft.com.
It is possible to quick tell how large an image really is, in pixels. This can be useful when developing web pages. After loading any web page that contains an image, right click on that graphic, select properties. You be able to see its pixel dimensions (width by height

It is now possible to quickly change the size of the text on the page you are reading. Simply select View, Text Size and change the text size either larger or smaller.
Save Entire Page - Including Graphics
With Internet Explorer it is possible to save an entire page including the graphics. To do this, load the page, then select save as. In the resulting dialogue box, choose web page, complete (the default option). All the graphics and the page itself will be saved to the location you specify.
